Youtube Channel & Mental Health Patch Update

A bit of a random post today guys!

Firstly, I know a lot of my followers will be interested in the outcome of my email to the Girlguiding UK association last week. I messaged them after hearing about a mental health patch being introduced to Girl Scouts throughout the US to find out if there was anything similar in the UK.

You will be all happy to know that the project is in negotiation, and they hope that Rainbows, Brownies & Guides will be able to earn mental health patches by the start of 2016 as apart of their training, which is fantastic!

Secondly, I know this won’t interest the majority of you, but I have just started a youtube channel. This isn’t going to be mental health based; instead I’m going to focus on makeup/fashion/upcycling – all the other interests in my life. I’m sure there will be the odd mental health vlog though as it’s a major part of my life.

I love speaking to you guys about mental health over here, but I want a place to talk about all the fun stuff too, so I’ve finally got around to finding somewhere!

If you are at all interested, please click on the picture below for a link to my first video, and I would really appreciate some subscribers so I’m not sitting talking to myself! 🙂

Speak soon!

Neat blog! Unfortunately I won’t be able to comment on YouTube because (paranoid) I refuse to make my own channel – especially since I don’t really have anything to talk about and I hate the way I look on camera. I’m not much into facial make-up but I think it’s cool what you said about the concealer. It’s good to know what works and what doesn’t. Like your demonstration for the eyebrows – being Hispanic I’ve used pencils – just like every other Hispanic but it’s neat to see something different. I hope your channel takes off – you’re really informative. Yay! Thank you!

Hmmm, not sure I will follow that channel! Still hope it goes well for you, it’s nice to have an outlet like that.
    Take care

You look great on camera. Want to ask you how you learned your editing program and what it is. For example, if it is movie maker (Windows) or Utubes program,,well, vlogging is the future. The Interntional Bipolar Foundation is looking for vloggers on healthy, more inspiring or having pushed past a tough place. I don’t have the skills. And I think it’s great to have your own channel. I want my own as well.

This will be a fun vlog! You look great, and I always like new makeup tips. I love the infinity eye shadow from Kiko’s Cosmetics and also Mac eye shadows (not that you asked, but just thought I’d share, haha). Best of luck with your new channel 🙂 Oh… I really like the cute lights in the background! On another note, that’s great that the UK will also have the mental health patches. So important for young girls to learn about and be aware of.
